Brand of the dosing technology manufacturer ViscoTec as an exhibitor for the first time
For the first time, preeflow is exhibiting at the Lopec in Munich. From 25th to 26th March, both 1- and 2-component microdispensing systems can be found in Hall B0 at Booth 120. The LOPEC (Large-area, Organic & Printed Electronics Convention) combines trade fair and congress for printed electronics. As an international platform it offers information from application to research. In 2019, 163 exhibitors from 19 countries and more than 2700 visitors were on site. In an interview with ViscoTec Business Development Manager Steffen Garbe, we find out why preeflow is exhibiting itself for the first time and not, as usual, via sales partners:
What moves preeflow to appear as an exhibitor for the first time?
Steffen Garbe: Normally, as mentioned above, our preeflow brand products are exhibited exclusively through our distributors. However, there is a Business Development department at ViscoTec that deals with trends and future applications for our products. We see printed electronics as an area with great potential in this business development. There are trade fairs in this area where we would like to be represented with our products. Such smaller trade fairs are usually not profitable for our sales partners, so we feel it is our responsibility to make this investment.
Which products are exhibited?
Steffen Garbe: We exhibit a part of our current product portfolio. At the exhibition, we will focus on dispensing of abrasive materials in the smallest quantities. These fluids are for example electrically or thermally conductive adhesives or pastes. Therefore, we will primarily exhibit the eco-PEN300, eco-PEN330 and eco-DUO330. These are micro-dispensers for smallest volumes in the microliter range. In addition to the high-precision dispensers, we will present the new VisLas Stator. This stator further improves the properties of the dispenser for applications with filled and abrasive materials.
Who will be on site at the booth?
Steffen Garbe: My colleagues Thomas Hochholzer and Tobias Wimmer from technical sales and I as Business Development Manager will be on site as contact persons. So we are well prepared for all the visitors’ concerns. We are looking forward to interesting discussions!
What is the aim of participating in the trade fair?
Steffen Garbe: In order for our products to continue to meet the requirements of the market in the future, we have to continuously develop our product portfolio. In order to continue to drive innovations forward and to meet the current applications on the market, we would like to participate in this innovative trade fair for printed electronics.
What else is exciting to report?
Steffen Garbe: We will demonstrate live applications and show exciting application examples. After consulting with us, i.e. the stand personnel, potential customers will even be able to operate and test an exhibited preeflow 1-component dispensing system themselves.
